04 Senior School Interview & Study Abroad
Ten Minutes:
A. Introduction
“Hi! This is teacher (name) from(Academy).”
“ I'm calling for the Level Test.”
“How are you today?” ...“Good to know that” / “ I hope you get well soon.”
“Is it a good time to talk?”
YES - “Great, This will only take a few minutes. Were you expecting my call?” “Good.”
NO - “Oh I understand. What time shall I call you back today? May I call you back tomorrow at (time)?”
B. Getting to know more about the Prospect
b.1 English Name - “Do you have an English Name?”
YES - “What is your English Name?”
NO – “Would you like an English Name?”
YES - “How about (name suggestions)?”. “ Good choice.”.
Be ready with at least 5 nice Female & Male Suggestions.
b.2 Age – Be careful and polite when you ask this question. Refrain from “ How old are you's”
“Can I ask your age? .”Your International age?”
“Thank you. You sound so adorable/sweet.”
b.3 Occupation
“You say you are 38 (example)So I assumed you are already a professional?”
“Are you working?”
“ Wow, that is a very nice/cool job.” “Wow, that's Interesting.”
*** If the prospect was able to answer this part, It means that they
belong to the Middle Beginner Level.
*** If the prospect is unable to answer, He/she is quiet or shy,
DO NOT ask a question from another question.
Proceed to Closing and note the prospect as Low Beginner.
b.4 Reason for Studying English
“May I know if you tried Phone English before?”
“May I know if you've had Online English experience?”
“Good. I see.”
“Why do you want to study English?”
* High Beginner and Advanced
“I would like to know how you first became interested in learning English. “
“When did you start studying it?”
“Tell me about how you first learned this language and how you are learning it.”
C. Sample
“I'd like to ask you a few questions and it would be great if you can answer me

Your younger brother/friend/batch is complaining because of his teacher's too much favoritism. He said his teacher would fail him because he is not the teacher's favorite. What will you do to solve the situation? 7. You saw other students drinking and smoking inside the campus. What will you do? | 1.Let's say: You have a teacher who is the only one helping you with your studies/project etc. she is Your most favorite and adored teacher. When she told you she/he would leave the campus for good. What will you say to him/her?/or. How would you feel? 2. At the Principal's office, they asked you: “How will you be a good example to our campus and what can you contribute to our University?” what will you say? 3. You've prepared so much for this big project in school. On the day of the submission, you saw an exact type of project as you did. How would you react and solve this situation. 4. Your project partner is sick due to heightened levels of stress and lack of sleep. How will you be able to help him/her for you to finish the project together? And you need to finish your project alone. How will you help your partner recover and or do the project alone on-time before the submission? 5. Let's say: Your professor is always angry when he comes into the class. and it majorly affects your studies. How will you be able to solve the problem? | 1. You have a big project today when you hear that your classmate stole your idea and has already presented it to your professor. What will you do? 2. Your classmate confide about her problem with her major. She told you that her parents chose her major for her and that she s not comfortable with it. How would you do to help her? 3.We are now in school. You have a very important project to finish and you have just been busy attending soirees and parties until you realize its nearly the deadline. How will you handle the stress when you don't even know when to start your homework/project? 4. As a senior; You saw your co-senior picking and bullying a lower batch/junior. What will you do to help? 5.The teachers in your University are on strike- due to loaded work and less compensated;your studies are also affected because the teachers aren't reporting to their classes. as a student in the university, how will you do to help? 6. Your professor offers to give you passing grade in exchange of personal interests. How will you handle the situation? 7. It is the finals and you discovered leaks of the exams in one folder inside your locker room. All the questions and answers have come out. What will you do if this happen? |
