한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ I want to fit in the company culture.
✅ I want to be a good culture fit for the company.
한국어로 '회사 문화에 맞추고 싶다'를 직역하면 "fit in the company culture"라고 하기 쉽지만, 이 표현은 어색합니다. 영어에서는 "be a good culture fit for~" 또는 "fit in with the company culture"처럼 전치사 'with'를 함께 쓰거나 'culture fit'을 명사구로 사용합니다. 'fit in' 뒤에는 반드시 'with'가 필요하고, 목적어를 바로 붙이면 문법적으로 틀린 표현이 됩니다.
