한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ I am a freelancer since 2020.
✅ I have been a freelancer since 2020.
한국어에서는 "나는 2020년부터 프리랜서야"라고 현재형으로 말하지만, 영어에서는 과거에 시작해서 지금까지 계속되는 상태를 나타낼 때 반드시 현재완료(have been)를 사용해야 합니다. 'since'와 함께 쓸 때는 항상 현재완료 시제를 사용하세요.
