Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "What is your strongest point?"
✅ "What are your greatest strengths?"

한국어 '강점'을 직역하여 "strongest point"라고 하는 경우가 많습니다. 영어 면접에서는 "greatest strengths" 또는 "strongest areas of skill"이 자연스러운 표현입니다. 또한 강점은 보통 하나가 아니라 여러 개를 묻기 때문에 복수형(strengths)을 사용하는 것이 일반적입니다.

❌ "I have many experiences."
✅ "I have extensive experience in project management."

한국어로 '경험이 많다'를 직역하면 "many experiences"가 되지만, 영어에서 experience는 직무 경력을 뜻할 때 불가산 명사로 씁니다. "Extensive experience" 또는 "years of experience"처럼 구체적으로 표현해야 면접관에게 전문성이 전달됩니다.
