In todays highly competitive job market with revolutionized recruitment, selection and hiring procedure, most business corporations are extremely selective in choosing their workers because business survival depends on their performance. As a result, many human resource practitioners need to identify outstanding job applicants quivkly from the start of the interviews.
Right after, most job applicants are rejected or not accomodated because of the following:
1. Inadequate communication skills - inability to express self clearly, poor voice
poor grammar and diction.
2. attitude and personality problems - over aggressive, conceited with superiority, expect too much too soon.
3. Lack of interest in the job or company or reluctance to take the job for various reason.
4. lack of required skills.
5. Questinable work values-dependability, initiative.

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어에서는 "회사에서 거절당했다"라고 표현하기 때문에 영어에서도 'rejected from'이라고 직역하는 경우가 많습니다. 하지만 영어에서는 사람이나 조직이 거절의 주체일 때 'rejected by'를 사용합니다. 'rejected from'은 프로그램이나 과정에서 탈락했을 때(예: rejected from the program) 쓰이므로 구분해서 사용하세요.
