Kris: I hear Lanie is going to work in Paris.
Sally: Paris? Wow! I hear it’s a beautiful place, but I don’t think I could ever live
there.
Kris: Why not?
Sally:Well, it’s too far from home. I’d miss my family.
Kris: Don’t think I’d mind moving to a foreign country. The language is the only thing that I’d be worried about.
Sally:Yeah, but wouldn’t you miss your friends?
Kris:Sure, for a while, but I’d make new ones.
Sally:You certainly sound very confident.
Kris:You know, actually, there is one thing I’d miss.
Sally:What’s that?
Kris:My dog!
