Have you ever had a day when everything seems to go wrong? Ms. Fox had one of those days. Her clock didn’t wake her up on time. She had to dress and eat quickly, or she would be late for work. Her car keys were missing. She looked all over the house. She turned everything upside down. At last, she found the car keys in a basket.
By he time Ms. Fox got to work, she was all worn out. On her desk was a note. It said “Please finish this work in one hour.” Ms. Fox wanted to cry. Then she looked at herself. She began to laugh instead. She had put two different kinds of shoes on her feet.
