한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ "Let me explain the agenda. First, we will discuss about the quarterly results."
✅ "Let me explain the agenda. First, we will discuss the quarterly results."
한국어에서는 '~에 대해 논의하다'라고 하기 때문에 영어에서도 'discuss about'이라고 하기 쉽습니다. 하지만 'discuss'는 타동사이므로 바로 목적어가 옵니다. 비슷하게 'talk about'은 맞지만 'discuss about'은 틀린 표현이니, 비즈니스 회의에서 특히 주의하세요.
