Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국 비즈니스 문화에서는 바로 본론으로 들어가는 것이 효율적이라고 생각하지만, 영어권 협상에서는 small talk 없이 곧바로 회의를 시작하면 상대방이 차갑고 무례하다고 느낄 수 있습니다. 반드시 인사 → 안부(small talk) → 간단한 배려(polite offer) → 본론 시작 순서를 지켜야 좋은 분위기(positive climate)를 만들 수 있습니다.
한국어에서는 '김 매니저입니다'처럼 성+직함을 사용하지만, 영어 자기소개에서는 풀네임을 말하고 직함은 별도로 설명합니다. 또한 'in charge of'에서 전치사 'in'을 빠뜨리는 실수가 매우 흔하니 주의하세요.
