한국어에서는 "경제가 안 좋다는 뉴스를 봤어요"처럼 간단하게 말하지만, 영어에서는 'news'를 불가산 명사로 써야 하며 'a news'가 아닌 'a news report/article'로 표현해야 합니다. 또한 면접에서는 "bad"처럼 막연한 표현 대신 "slowing down, declining"과 같이 구체적인 표현을 사용하는 것이 더 전문적으로 들립니다.
