Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어 '자기 개발'을 직역하면 "develop myself"가 되지만, 영어에서는 부자연스럽습니다. 영어에서는 "develop my skills," "grow professionally," 또는 "advance my career"처럼 구체적인 대상을 함께 말합니다. 또한 관계부사 that 대신 장소·환경을 나타내는 where를 쓰는 것이 자연스럽습니다.
한국어 '~에 기여하다'의 영향으로 전치사 "for"를 쓰는 실수가 매우 흔합니다. 영어에서 contribute는 항상 to와 함께 쓰입니다. 면접에서 "contribute to the organization's growth"라고 정확히 말해야 전문적으로 들립니다.
