JAKE THE JAGUARJake the Jaguar lived in the jungle. He jumped on jagged rocks. He jogged down dirt paths. He enjoyed smelling jasmine flowers. He wore spotted pajamas!One day in July, Jake was working on a project. A panther jumped out of a tree. He looked at Jake. It gave Jake a jolt. Jake did not know the panther.Jake swished his tail back and forth. The two animals circled slowly. Who would jump first? Then, the panther sprang at Jake! The jaguar and the panther rolled on the ground. Jake slashed the panther's nose.
