Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ If I will win the lottery, I will buy a house.
✅ If I won the lottery, I would buy a house.
가정법(비현실적 상황)에서는 "will"을 쓰지 않습니다. 한국어로 "만약 ~한다면"이라고 할 때 현재형처럼 느껴지지만, 영어에서는 if절에 과거형(won)을, 주절에 would를 써야 합니다. "What would you do if...?" 패턴에서는 항상 과거형 + would 조합을 기억하세요.
