The quite quiet Queen of Quito sat on her throne.
It was time to make some laws.
The queen really did not enjoy this.
But, she had to make some laws quickly.
People were not behaving kindly in her quaint kingdom.
She spoke to her qualified helper.
"I have a question," she said quietly.
"At your service, Queen," he replied.
"Why are the people acting this way?"
"My queen, I think they are simply quite tired."
The queen thought about this. "What could I do to quell this problem?"
The queen decided a fun event would be better than more laws.
The queen took out her quill pen. "We shall have a picnic for them! Get a large quantity of food, prizes and games!"
The picnic would be in three days. The people came from every quarter. They sat on the grassy hillside.
