We use must to say that we feel sure something is true.Example:
You뭭e been travelling all day. You must be tired.
(Travelling is tiring and you뭭e been travelling all day, so you are probably
tired.)Positive: + must be (tired/hungry/home etc.)
He/she/it+ must be (doing/coming/joking, etc.)
We/you/they+ must be (do/get/know/have)Negative: I + must not be (tired/hungry/home, etc.)
He/she/it + must not be (doing/coming/joking, etc.)
We/you/they+ must not be (doing/coming/joking, etc.)Examples:
1.You must be crazy to believe everything he says.
2.He뭩 not answering the phone. He must be out.
3.His house is next to the freeway. It must be very noisy there.
4.He lives in the province. He must be used to quiet.
5.He lives in the city. He must not be used to quiet and solitude.
