We use may or might to say that something is a possibility.Examples:

It may be true.
She might know.
I might be true. (=perhaps it is true)Positive:
I + may be /might be (tired/hungry/home etc.)
He/she/it + may be/ might be(doing/coming/joking, etc.)
We/you/they + may/ might be (do/get/know/have)Negative:
I + may not be /might not be (tired/hungry/home etc.)
He/she/it + may not be /might not be (doing/coming/joking, etc.)
