DAY 1: READ A TEXT A LOUD
A. PRONUNCIATION:
1. The teacher will highlight all the content words (noun, main verb, adjective and adverb) and read the each word.
2. The student will listen and repeat after the teacher.
3. The teacher would need to take note of the words that the student is having a hard time pronouncing and ask the student to repeat reciting those words.
Sample 1:Sometimes making the simplest changes in our everyday spending habits can make a world of difference when it comes to saving money. Something as simple as making your own home-brewed coffee, instead of buying at Starbucks, eating home cooked meals instead of eating out, and taking public transit instead of driving, can all help you save thousands of dollars over the course of a year. Such simple little changes can make you richer and in the end happier.
Sample 2: This is our best selling product. Just last week, I received an order for 1100 of these! The reason why it sells so well is its combination of high quality and low price. Just take a look at it. Hit it against the table. It does not scuff or scratch. Go ahead and give it a good bang! It is amazingly durable. And at only 40p each, they are a steal. Do you know how much the competition sells these for? ...nearly 50p each!
B. PAUSING:
1. The teacher will read the given paragraph with proper pausing.
2. The student will listen first to the teacher then he/she will repeat what the teachers read.

Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "Making your own home-brewed coffee can save thousands of dollars." ("도우절스"로 발음)
✅ "Making your own home-brewed coffee can save thousands of dollars."
