Common mistakes Korean speakers make when describing a picture.
사진 묘사할 때 한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
사진 묘사에서 현재 진행 중인 동작을 표현할 때, 관계대명사절(who is stand) 대신 현재분사(standing)를 사용하는 것이 훨씬 자연스럽고 간결합니다. 한국어는 '서 있는 남자'처럼 동사 원형을 관형형으로 바꾸기 때문에, 영어에서도 원형을 그대로 쓰는 실수가 자주 발생합니다. TOEIC Speaking에서는 "standing," "sitting," "holding"처럼 분사 형태를 바로 붙여 말하는 연습을 하세요.
