Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정

Common mistakes Korean speakers make when proposing solutions.
해결책을 제안할 때 한국인이 자주 하는 실수입니다.

❌ I suggest to reschedule the meeting to next Monday.

✅ I suggest rescheduling the meeting to next Monday.

"suggest"는 동명사(-ing)를 목적어로 취합니다. "suggest to + 동사원형"은 틀린 문법입니다. recommend, consider, avoid도 마찬가지입니다.

❌ For solving this problem, we should make a new policy.

✅ To solve this problem, we should create a new policy.

목적을 나타낼 때 "For + -ing" 대신 "To + 동사원형"이 더 자연스럽습니다. 또한 정책을 "만들다"는 "make"보다 "create" 또는 "implement"가 비즈니스 영어에서 더 적절합니다.
