Common mistakes Korean speakers make when reading aloud.
소리 내어 읽을 때 한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어는 음절 박자 언어라서 모든 음절을 균등하게 읽는 습관이 있습니다. 하지만 영어는 강세 박자 언어이므로 핵심 단어에 강세를 주고, 의미 단위(thought group)로 묶어서 자연스럽게 읽어야 합니다. TOEIC Speaking 낭독 문제에서는 슬래시(/) 표시가 없어도 전치사구, 접속사, 쉼표 앞에서 자연스럽게 끊어 읽는 연습이 중요합니다.
