NEW FRIEND
”Mother, may I bring my new friend home for a visit?” asked Joan. Mother said that she could bring her friend home. Joan ran out of the house.
Soon Joan came back into the house. She had a goat with her! Mother cried, “Why did you bring the goat into the house?” Joan said that the goat was her new friend.
