Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ I called for follow up about my interview.
✅ I'm calling to follow up on my interview.
한국어에서는 "~에 대해 후속 조치를 하다"라고 표현하기 때문에 'follow up about'이라고 직역하기 쉽습니다. 하지만 영어에서는 'follow up on something'이 올바른 표현입니다. 또한 전화 목적을 말할 때 'called for'가 아닌 'calling to'를 사용하는 것이 자연스럽습니다.
