Korean Trap! /

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.

❌ "What is your job?"
✅ "What do you do?" / "What do you do for a living?"

를 직역하면 "What is your job?" 하지만 영어에서는 "What do you do?" "What is your job?"은 다소 직접적이고 딱딱하게 들릴 수 있으므로, 비즈니스 자리에서는 꼭 "What do you do?"

❌ "I'm working in Samsung for 5 years."
✅ "I've been working at Samsung for 5 years." / "I've worked at Samsung for 5 years."

기간을 나타내는 'for'가 있을 때는 현재완료(have worked) 또는 현재완료진행(have been working)을 써야 합니다.

❌ "I'm in charge in marketing."
✅ "I'm in charge of marketing."

'in charge' 뒤에는 반드시 'of'를 써야 합니다. 'in charge in'은 틀린 표현이니, 'in charge of + 담당 분야'로 꼭 기억해 두세요.
