한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어에서는 "경기가 더 안 좋아요"라고 비교 대상 없이 자연스럽게 말하지만, 영어에서 비교급(worse)을 쓸 때는 'than ~'으로 비교 대상을 밝히거나, 'getting worse'처럼 변화를 나타내는 표현을 써야 합니다. 경기 상황을 설명할 때 "The recession is getting worse" 또는 "The unemployment rate is higher than last quarter"처럼 표현하세요.
