Korean Trap! /

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.

❌ "I was born in Seoul and grew up there since childhood."
✅ "I was born in Seoul and was brought up there." / "I grew up in Seoul."

또한 'grew up'과 'was brought up'은 둘 다 '자라다'를 뜻하지만, 'was brought up'은 부모나 환경에 의해 양육되었다는 뉘앙스가 강합니다.

❌ "The mortgage of my house is very expensive."
✅ "The mortgage on my house is very high."

또한 전치사도 'of'가 아닌 'on'을 써서 'the mortgage on my house'라고 표현하는 것이 자연스럽습니다.
