Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정

Common mistakes Korean speakers make in business emails.
한국인이 비즈니스 이메일에서 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "I am sending my CV to you. Please check it and contact to me."
✅ "As requested, I am attaching my CV. I look forward to hearing from you."

한국어에서는 '연락 주세요'를 직역하여 'contact to me'라고 쓰는 경우가 많지만, 영어에서 contact는 타동사이므로 전치사 to 없이 'contact me'라고 써야 합니다. 또한 비즈니스 이메일에서는 'Please check it'처럼 직접적인 명령형보다 'I look forward to hearing from you'와 같은 정중한 마무리 표현을 사용하는 것이 훨씬 격식 있고 자연스럽습니다. 공식 이메일에서는 'As requested'처럼 상대방의 요청을 언급하며 시작하면 더욱 프로페셔널한 인상을 줄 수 있습니다.
