E-mail jargons
- any talk or writing that one does not understand

the following jargons describe the technical features of an e-mail or internet usage:
BROWSER – the product you use to “surf”( ex. Internet Explorer or Network Communicator)
they allow you move around the internet an view various pages.
BOOK MARKS – a browser function that allows you store details of the pages on the internet that you like and you want to return to.
ATTACHMENT - a file that is sent with an e-mail message.
COOKIE - a small text file used by web sites to keep a record of visitors. The cookie also tells a site the names of the last sites you visited and what you type of browser you are using.
SPAM – unwanted or junked e-mail.
PORTAL – a web sites that offers services (ex. Matching jobs to qualified experts or sellers)
BBS – a bulletin board service where you can post messages from others on a specific topic.

한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어에서는 '메일 보냈어요'라고 자연스럽게 말하기 때문에 영어에서도 "mail"이라고만 쓰는 경우가 많습니다. 하지만 영어에서 "mail"은 우편물(종이 편지)을 의미하고, 전자 메일은 "e-mail" 또는 "email"이라고 해야 합니다. 비즈니스 상황에서 혼동하면 오해를 줄 수 있으니 꼭 구분해서 사용하세요.
