Common mistakes Korean speakers make when explaining why they want a job.
지원 동기를 설명할 때 한국인이 자주 하는 실수입니다.
"enter a company"는 한국어 "입사하다"의 직역이지만, 영어에서는 "join a company"가 자연스럽습니다. 또한 "복지"는 "welfare"가 아니라 "benefits" 또는 "benefits package"입니다.
면접에서 "in my small way"는 자신을 너무 낮추는 표현입니다. 겸손도 좋지만, 영어 면접에서는 자신감 있게 표현하는 것이 더 좋습니다. "I believe I can make a meaningful contribution"이 더 효과적입니다.
