Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ "My career goal is becoming a manager."
✅ "My career goal is to become a manager."
한국어에서는 "목표는 ~하는 것이다"라고 표현하기 때문에 영어에서도 동명사(-ing)를 쓰는 실수를 자주 합니다. 하지만 영어에서 goal, aim, plan, dream 등 미래 지향적인 명사 뒤에는 to 부정사(to + 동사원형)를 쓰는 것이 자연스럽습니다. "My goal is to become ~", "My plan is to achieve ~"처럼 to 부정사를 사용하세요.
