Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어로 '자신감이 있다'를 직역하면 "have a confidence"라고 쓰기 쉽지만, confidence는 셀 수 없는 명사이므로 관사 a를 붙이지 않습니다. "I have confidence in~" 또는 형용사를 사용하여 "I am confident in~"이라고 표현하는 것이 자연스럽습니다. 면접에서 자격 요건을 어필할 때 자주 쓰는 표현이니 정확히 익혀 두세요.
한국어 '저의 자격은 5년 일한 것입니다'를 그대로 옮기면 어색한 영어가 됩니다. 영어에서는 자격 요건을 말할 때 "years of experience" 같은 명사구를 사용하여 간결하고 전문적으로 표현합니다. 면접에서는 문장 구조보다 핵심 키워드 중심으로 말하는 것이 더 임팩트 있습니다.
