한국어에서는 '대학원에 들어가다'라고 표현하지만, 영어에서 'enter'는 물리적으로 건물에 들어가는 느낌을 줍니다. 대학원 입학은 'be admitted to graduate school' 또는 'get into graduate school'이라고 표현해야 자연스럽습니다. 면접에서 이 표현을 틀리면 첫인상에 영향을 줄 수 있으니 꼭 기억하세요.
한국어로는 '석사 학위를 따다'라고 하기 때문에 'take'를 쓰기 쉽지만, 영어에서는 학위를 '취득하다'라는 의미로 'earn a degree' 또는 'obtain a degree'를 사용합니다. 또한 'master'가 아니라 소유격 형태인 'master's degree'로 써야 올바른 표현입니다.
