Reading

선생님과 함께 지문을 읽어보세요.
Do you have any goal right now that you are trying to attain? What do you do to attain it?
You can begin the answer by a statement of your goal. It can be job related or not. However the former is better. An example would be “To find the right job”. This brings back to the position you are applying for. This confirms that you are very serious about entering the organization. After stating the goal, you should tell clearly how you started acting on it and how would you continue to reach it. You can include a time element in your answer. You can state plans on the short run and in the long run.
Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어에서는 '~하는 것'이라는 표현 때문에 "My goal is getting..."이라고 하기 쉽지만, 목표를 말할 때는 to부정사(to + 동사원형)를 쓰는 것이 자연스럽습니다. "My goal is to~"는 아직 이루지 못한 목표를 나타내고, "My goal is ~ing"는 이미 하고 있는 활동을 설명하는 뉘앙스가 됩니다. 면접에서는 "My goal is to find the right position where I can grow professionally."처럼 to부정사를 사용하세요.
