Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국어에서는 '~에 대해 소개하다'라고 하기 때문에 영어에서도 'introduce about'이라고 말하는 경우가 많습니다. 하지만 영어에서 'introduce'는 타동사이므로 바로 목적어가 옵니다. 'about'을 쓰고 싶다면 'talk about' 또는 'tell you about'으로 바꿔야 합니다.
프레젠테이션 도입부에서 'topic is about'이라고 하면 의미가 중복됩니다. 'topic'은 이미 '주제'라는 뜻이므로 'topic is + 명사' 또는 'presentation is about + 명사' 중 하나만 사용해야 자연스러운 영어 표현이 됩니다.
