Common mistakes Korean speakers make.

❌ "Please wait a moment, I will find my place."
✅ "Please bear with me for a moment."

한국어로 "잠깐만 기다려 주세요"를 직역하면 "Please wait"이 되지만, 프레젠테이션 중 실수를 만회할 때는 너무 직접적이고 어색하게 들립니다. 영어에서는 "Bear with me"라는 표현을 사용하면 청중에게 정중하게 양해를 구하면서도 전문적인 인상을 줄 수 있습니다. "Wait"은 명령처럼 들릴 수 있으니 발표 상황에서는 피하세요.
