한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ "As you can see the graph, sales increased by 20%."
✅ "As you can see from the graph, sales increased by 20%."
한국어에서는 '그래프를 보시면'이라고 해서 영어로도 'see the graph'라고 직역하기 쉽습니다. 하지만 영어에서는 그래프로부터 정보를 읽어낸다는 의미이므로 'see from the graph'가 올바른 표현입니다. 프레젠테이션에서 그래프를 설명할 때 'from'을 빠뜨리지 않도록 주의하세요.
