Driving on Route 44, a winding Connecticut highway, Dr. Scott Kurtzman saw a dump truck barreling down a steep hill. Clearly the driver had lost control. Kurtzman maneuvered off the road, onto the grass. An instant later, the truck was on its side, plowing into vehicle after vehicle. Thanks to years of ER experience, the doctor immediately shifted into trauma mode, pulling victims from burning cars and treating their wounds. After 90 minutes, when all 16 victims had been triaged and taken to area hospitals, the doctor climbed quietly into his car. "A person with my skills simply can't drive by someone who's injured," he says.

Korean Trap! /
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
"I rode in his car"처럼 전치사 "in"을 붙이면 동승의 의미로 쓸 수 있지만, "ride a car"는 부자연스러운 표현입니다.
