구동사(phrasal verb)에서 목적어가 대명사(it, them, him 등)일 때는 반드시 동사와 전치사 사이에 넣어야 합니다. "pick up it"이 아니라 "pick it up"이 맞습니다. 명사 목적어일 때는 "pick up a parcel" 또는 "pick a parcel up" 둘 다 가능하지만, 대명사는 항상 가운데에 위치해야 합니다.
