Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ "I got a good score, so I passed the quiz."
✅ "I got a good score, so I passed the quiz." (O) but "I saw the quiz" ❌ → "I took the quiz" ✅
한국어에서는 시험을 '보다'라고 해서 영어로 "see the quiz" 또는 "look the quiz"라고 직역하는 경우가 많습니다. 영어에서는 시험을 칠 때 반드시 "take a quiz" 또는 "take a test"라고 표현합니다. "I saw the quiz"라고 하면 시험지를 눈으로 봤다는 뜻이 되므로 주의하세요.
