한국어에서는 '소방관'처럼 한 단어로 쓰지만, 영어의 "-man" 복합어를 두 단어로 띄어 쓰는 실수를 자주 합니다. fireman, policeman, businessman 등은 하나의 단어로 붙여 씁니다. 다만 hit man처럼 두 단어로 쓰는 예외도 있으니 주의하세요.
