recruit To find and hire new employees for a company or organization. 채용하다, 모집하다 Our company plans to recruit thirty new software engineers this quarter.
probationary period A trial period at the start of employment during which a new worker's performance is evaluated. 수습 기간 During the three-month probationary period, your supervisor will evaluate your work regularly.
compensation package The total combination of salary, benefits, and perks offered to an employee. 보상 패키지 (급여 및 복리후생 전체) The compensation package includes a base salary, health insurance, and stock options.
lay off To end a worker's employment, usually because the company needs to reduce staff, not because of the worker's performance. 정리 해고하다 The factory had to lay off two hundred workers due to declining sales.
résumé A document summarizing a person's education, work experience, and skills, used when applying for jobs. 이력서 Make sure your résumé highlights any leadership experience you have.
promotion An advancement to a higher position or rank within a company. 승진 After two years of outstanding performance, she received a well-deserved promotion to senior manager.

✅ I want to join a big company after graduation.

한국어에서는 회사에 '입사하다'라고 해서 영어로도 "enter a company"라고 직역하는 경우가 많습니다. 하지만 영어에서는 "join a company" 또는 "get a job at a company"라고 표현합니다. "Enter"는 건물이나 장소에 물리적으로 들어갈 때 사용하는 단어입니다.
