Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ "I will get off work at 6 o'clock, so let's meet after."
✅ "I get off work at 6, so let's meet after." (OK) / "I'll clock out at 6, so let's meet after."
한국어 '퇴근하다'를 직역해서 "get off work"이라고 하면 문법적으로 틀리지는 않지만, 원어민은 상황에 따라 "clock out," "finish up," 또는 "wrap up for the day"처럼 다양한 work lingo를 씁니다. 특히 직장 동료끼리는 "I'm clocking out at 6" 또는 "I'm heading out at 6"가 훨씬 자연스럽습니다. 항상 같은 표현만 반복하지 말고, 오늘 배우는 다양한 직장 표현을 활용해 보세요.
