Korean Trap! /

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.

❌ The economy is depressed so many companies went bankrupt.
✅ The economy is in a recession, so many companies have gone bankrupt.

한국어에서는 '경기가 침체되다'를 직역하여 "economy is depressed"라고 하기 쉽지만, 영어에서는 "in a recession" 또는 "in a downturn"이 자연스럽습니다.
