Mr. Weiss had a pet cat. Its name was Kat. Kat had a wonderful life. It was fed only the best food fish, chicken, liver, and warm milk. Kat was the happiest pet in town. Then Mr. Weiss died. He left Kat over $6,000 so that the animal could always live a comfortable life.
Kat went to live with one of Mr. Weiss’ friends. The friend thought that the cat was eating too much, and eating the wrong kinds of food. She fed Kat only cat food and cold milk. From then on, Kat ate the same foods that most cats eat ? even though the pet had more than $6,000 in the bank!
