Harry Bradley was getting on an airplane. He turned and saw a group of children looking at the plane. He heard one of them say, “I hope that I can ride in an airplane someday.” Harry began to think of all the children who had never ridden in a plane.
When he got home, Harry called an airport. He said, “I want to rent a big airplane.” Then he took a group of schoolchildren for a long ride.
Harry gave airplane rides to hundreds of girls and boys. The children rode free because Harry paid all the expenses.

"hope" 뒤에는 "that + 주어 + 동사" 또는 "to + 동사"가 옵니다. "hope ride"처럼 바로 동사원형을 쓸 수 없습니다. 또한 탈것에 "타다"는 "ride in"을 사용합니다.
