It is not very unusual for a sports person to win more than one medal in the Olympic Games.Swimmers Mark Spitz and Matt Biondi, for example, have each won five or more medals.
It is unusual, however, for two people in the same family to each win more than one Olympic medal in one year. This was accomplished in 1988 by two American women. Florence Griffith-Joyner and Jackie Joyner-Kersee. The two women are sisters-in-law and Olympic champions. Griffith-Joyner became famous when she won both the 100 meter and 200-meter races. Her sister-in-law amazed the world with her wins in the long jump and the difficult heptathlon.

Korean Trap! /
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
