한국어에서 '재무제표'라고 하면 모든 재무 문서를 통칭하지만, 영어에서는 구분이 중요합니다. Income statement(손익계산서)는 수익과 비용을, balance sheet(대차대조표)는 자산·부채·자본을 보여줍니다. 부채(liabilities)는 balance sheet에 나타나므로, 문맥에 맞는 재무제표 용어를 정확히 사용해야 합니다.
