sticker price The listed or advertised price of a product before any negotiation or discount. 정가; 표시 가격 (할인 전 원래 가격) Don't pay the sticker price for a car — there's almost always room to negotiate.

✅ "This product is on sale now."

한국어에서는 "세일이다"라고 간단히 말하지만, 영어에서는 반드시 "on sale"이라고 전치사 on을 함께 써야 합니다. "sale"만 단독으로 쓰면 명사로만 기능하므로 "is sale"은 문법적으로 틀린 표현입니다. 예: "The shoes are on sale for 30% off."
