❌ "I was fired out from the company last month."
✅ "I was laid off from the company last month."

한국어의 '해고되다/잘리다'를 영어로 옮길 때 "fired out"이라고 하는 경우가 많은데, 이는 잘못된 표현입니다. 본인의 잘못으로 해고된 경우에는 "fired"를, 회사 구조조정 등으로 정리해고된 경우에는 "laid off"를 사용합니다. 또한 "fired"에는 "out"을 붙이지 않습니다.
