✅ "He was laid off from the company last month due to restructuring."
한국어에서 '구조조정 당했다'라는 표현을 직역하여 "restructured"를 사람에게 쓰는 경우가 많습니다. 영어에서 restructure는 조직이나 회사에 쓰는 동사이고, 사람이 해고되는 경우에는 "laid off" 또는 "made redundant"라고 표현합니다. "The company restructured"는 맞지만, 사람이 주어일 때는 "was laid off due to restructuring"이라고 해야 자연스럽습니다.
