agenda A list of topics or items to be discussed during a meeting. 회의 안건, 의제 Let's move on to the next item on the agenda.
minutes The official written record of what was said and decided in a meeting. 회의록 Could someone take the minutes during today's meeting?
adjourn To formally end or pause a meeting, often with the intention of continuing later. 회의를 휴회하다, 끝내다 If there are no further questions, I'd like to adjourn the meeting.
brainstorm To generate ideas freely as a group without immediately judging them. 브레인스토밍하다, 아이디어를 자유롭게 내다 Let's brainstorm some solutions before we make a final decision.
consensus A general agreement reached by everyone in the group. 합의, 의견 일치 We need to reach a consensus before moving forward with the project.
follow up To take further action or check on something after a meeting. 후속 조치를 취하다, 확인하다 I'll follow up with the design team and report back next week.

한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "Let's finish the meeting. I'll send you the meeting log."
✅ "Let's wrap up the meeting. I'll send you the meeting minutes."

한국어에서 '회의록'을 직역하면 'meeting log'라고 할 수 있지만, 영어에서는 회의 내용을 기록한 문서를 meeting minutes라고 합니다. 또한 회의를 '끝내다'라고 할 때 "finish the meeting"보다 "wrap up the meeting"이 비즈니스 상황에서 훨씬 자연스러운 표현입니다.
